Symbol update This article requires updating to keep up to date with game content.

You can help improve the Towns wiki by updating it.
Reason: "missing some farms and lacks information about what food must be fed to each animal to prevent the animal's starvation"

Farms are a type of Building that Townsfolk can build as a means of generating food or other materials. For the farming of plants, see Planting.

While all farms generate food or materials over time, different farms all have slightly different construction requirements as well as materials produced. Farms, such as cow farms and pig farms generate livestock which require butchering before being used as food.

Livestock Farms[ | ]

Livestock farms are buildings that produce animals at a steady rate. They all require a flat 3x3 area to be placed. Chicken, |Cow, and Pig Farms must be placed entirely on grassy terrain. Skootenbeeten Farms must be placed on jungle terrain. Unifallow Farms must be placed on desert terrain. Finally, Badger Farms are the most flexible, as they can be placed on either jungle or grassy terrain.

Each farm produces an animal about every 5 minutes.
