Any type of living entity can be affected by Effects including Townsfolk, Hostiles and Animals. Most effects are inflicted upon foes due to heroes' skills and Traps but some positive effects can be given to friendlies by heroes such as healing and attack aura. Additionally, if townsfolk consume Raw Foods, they gain the bellyache and slow effects.
